Peter C. Anderson, ISHC (Los Angeles)
Peter Anderson is a principal of Anderson and Associates, consulting firm that focuses on the issues of Operational Audits, Spa and Wellness programming Market Analysis, Feasibility and Acquisition Underwriting, and Economic Impact. Mr. Anderson’s firm conducts engagements in market, financial and economic impact analysis by tracking and evaluating wellness hospitality and tourism trends.
Mr. Anderson provides both operational and developmental consulting that includes analysis for projects as they relate to acquisition for third parties, strategic design, economic growth, infrastructure development, and related development issues. Integrating program development with long-term strategic planning allows for maximum flexibility in the dynamic hospitality environment.
Mr. Anderson’s consulting has included engagements throughout North America, Mexico, Caribbean, and Hawaii. His client engagements consist of hotel companies, financial institutions, independent developers and management companies. Before developing Anderson and Associates, Mr. Anderson was a Vice President at PKF Consulting, Los Angeles. Prior to that, Mr. Anderson oversaw Deloitte & Touche’s LLC’s Los Angeles based hospitality consulting practice. He has owned and operated a hospitality consulting practice in Denver, Colorado, that specialized in turnaround management and operational analysis. Other positions held in the industry include Manager of Acquisitions for Richfield Hotels and Senior Consultant with Laventhol and Horwath.
Mr. Anderson holds a Masters of Professional Studies from Cornell University School of Hotel Administration and a Bachelors of Arts in Psychological Basis of Behavior from the University of Pennsylvania. He has also studied environmental design and hospitality. He is also a certified adult education teacher in the State of California is an adjunct faculty member at California Polytechnic University’s Hospitality (the Collins School of Hospitality Management) in Pomona, California. He is a member of the board of directors for University of California Irvine’s Medical Spa Program and provides instruction in that program. Prior to his involvement in the tourism and hospitality industries Mr. Anderson was a Lieutenant in the United States Navy
